I had the opportunity to help nightinabox.com promote their fundraising of 3 Denver non-profits.
I worked with the director to clarify our purpose, message, audience and command. Here are my notes.
The informational video below was a lot of fun to put together. I wrote the script, my wife did the voice over and we designed the visualizations together.
Next we wanted to show that Night in a Box was a worthy fundraiser. We selected three people from the three non-profits Night in a Box supports to tell their stories. We wanted to open with lines that hooked your interest and editing that was snappy and fast. Since our audience was largely on facebook we worked to keep the interviews between 90-120 seconds.
